Anodized aluminum prevents hands from turning black from oxidation while using it. Easy-to-read black graduations are reverse reading to work from any directions. The 39.37" long ruler measures with millimeters, 1/8", and 1/16" graduations for detailed accuracy. A metric conversion table is printed on the back of the tool for convenience.
